There is a church in your neighborhood where you are welcome to come as you are – a child of God. We happen to think it is a rather special place.
We will respect your mind and your soul. We believe that each person’s conscience is guided by God; therefore we believe that faithful people can disagree and still be faithful. That makes us different in an increasingly divisive world.
We respect who you are. We believe God calls women and men into leadership in the church and we are thankful for them. Equality between people is natural when you believe that we are all made in God’s image.
We respect your faith tradition. We believe in an “open table” where anyone who trusts in God’s promises is welcome to come and eat. We know it is not our table, but God’s table, therefore, no matter when or where you have been baptized you are welcome.
We will respect your questions. We believe one of our spiritual gifts is intellect and the ability to consider and discern faithful answers to even the biggest questions.
You are welcome anytime to visit and see that not all churches are alike. Here is a place for you.
