Discipleship is our faith in practice. Discipleship is faith lived out. Discipleship is the difference between saying that we believe and being what we believe God calls us to be.
Discipleship is not doing the same job you’ve always done because no one else will. Discipleship is not the result of arm twisting, or filling empty slots with a warm body. Discipleship is not doing a job while wishing someone else would take over.
Discipleship is discovering the gifts God has given you and putting them to good use. When we use our gifts in service – that is discipleship! And it blesses us and gives us energy. We are excited about the possibilities of our vocation!
What areas of ministry that interest you or might bless you?
Our folks offer their gifts of leadership, music, organization, teaching, hospitality, listening, writing, planning, learning, speaking, computing, using technology and practically any other faithful skill or interest to serve the community.
It is a joy that God calls us into ministry.
Let us celebrate the gifts we have received!
